Andrew Kuntz is a Canadian glass artist whose work has been widely praised for its classical grace, contemporary simplicity, and vibrancy of colour.
In addition to winning a number of awards, his pieces have been extensively exhibited around the globe, including; The Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C.; Pilkington, Sheffield, and Oxford Museums in England;
The Galerie Art et Creation in Lyon, France; Tai Pei fine Art Museum; The Hong Kong Museum of Art; and
The Museum of Contemporary Craft in New York.
Andrew's privately owned work is represented in numerous domestic and international collections, including the Premier of China, the Prime Minister of Ireland, the Vatican Collection , Imperial Oil, and the U.S. Ambassador to Canada.
Andrew trained in blown and sculptural glass at Sheridan College School of Design from 1977 to 1980. Since that time, he has been a resident artist at Harbourfront Glass Studio in Toronto, a teacher at Alberta College of Art, Haliburton School of the Arts and Sheridan College, given numerous workshops around the country, built and run a studio in Barrie, On., and is currently a partner at Glen Williams Glass in Glen Williams, Ontario. He's had a well rounded career that is framed by awards, invitational exhibitions, and commissioned installations.
